Awards History
Each year, STATHSNE Awards are bestowed by the STATHSNE Alumni
Association to honor individuals for their exemplary contribution to
STATHS. The awards pay tribute to alumni and friends who provided
outstanding donation, support and service not only to STATHSNE,  
but also to STATHS directly.   The awards are made annually in the
fall during the annual Dinner Dance Fundraising  Event.

The tradition began in 2006 when the STATHSNE Meritorious Award
was presented to Norval Sherman for his outstanding contribution to
STATHS and its students for 39 years.  Since then, this award has
been bestowed annually to those alumni or individuals who have
rendered special and outstanding service to STATHSNE or directly to
the school.  

In 2008 the STATHSNE Distinguished Service Alumni Award was
created to recognize and  honor those STATHS Alumni who have
provided distinguish service and or contribution to STATHSNE or to
the school.  The first Distinguished Service Alumni Award was
presented to Leslie Pitterson '78 for his annual contribution to
STATHSNE.
